The Living Planet Aquarium

The one thing Ethan wanted to do the most in Utah was go to "The Living Planet Aquarium" in Sandy, UT. It's all he could talk about even though we told him we "might" go. We were able to find some time to squeeze in a visit and the kids enjoyed every minute of it.
They didn't want to leave when it was time, even if I was more than ready to leave. Don't get me wrong, it's a great place, but two hours is a long time to look at fish :)

Kalin kept telling me that the jelly fish were changing colors. I had to convince her that it was the light changing. Either way, it was cool that they looked different colors.

love this picture of Ethan!

He would have one of these as a pet if he could :)

of course, we always love the jelly fish!

the kids checking out the octopus

(sheesh, can't you read lady? "no flash photography")

Mesmerized

some cool looking plants. I'm sure Ethan would know the name, but that's the best I could come up with. When he looks at this, I'll be sure to correct the name from cool looking to the real name :)

so many interesting things in the sea

This is a massive clam that Ethan loved, so I took some pics for him.

the inside of the clam. Weird.

way cool red and white star fish

kids trying to touch manta rays

Matthew helping Kalin. She even got her hair in the water. It was quite deep!

just to show you how drenched Kalin got.

Lexi examining some eels.

we all thought these fish were cool. Can you see their eyes above the water. Funny huh.

our cute kiddos

the girls posing in the play area

pretending to be a fish

This is Ethan's favorite part of the Aquarium. The place where you get to touch all the exhibits.

He went through this line about 50 million times :)

the octopus on the wall of the tank. I couldn't see the "no flash photography" sign on the wall cause it was so dark. oops! Got yelled at that for this pic :)

that was a HUGE octopus! What a fun place to take the kids, I'm definitely gonna have to look into that the next time we are in Utah.

Did you cut Kalin's hair? She looks very cute, either way :)
