Self Portrait Thursday

Sometimes I get lazy and just let my hair air dry because I'm not planning on going anywhere.

Well, I wasn't planning on going anywhere, but I ended up going to Walmart & then shoveled my driveway. So much for not going anywhere!

Well, this is my hair au naturel--wavy, poofy and kinda all over the place.

It's kinda crazy to me that my hair used to be like this every day of my life before straighteners! It was way longer too! Imagine how much poofiness that is!

Today I am thankful for straighteners & so is Matthew! Although he loves me no matter what my hair looks like, this is his prefered hairstyle :)

Chopping it all off!

I decided before going to California that I wanted a haircut. I needed one desperately and so I decided I had enough to do a "locks of love" cut. It was pretty scary at the time, but I made it through.

This is my little sister with REALLY long hair whom I convinced to cut it all off too. Her hair is sun bleached, crazy like from the way she has to wear it everyday in the military.

She was a trooper and my supporter :)

This is us after the chopping was done. Now we have cute, short, healthy hair!

Thanks to our awesome SIL hairdresser Erika for saving us and making our hair cute! Love ya girl!

Lexi's matching hair do.

So Lexi's hair is getting longer and we decided to do her hair the same as Kalin's today. A lot shorter, but just as cute!

Old Skool Hair!

I just had to post this for some friends of mine. We were talking about our old hair dos and so I had to show a few. I can't believe I didn't have more examples, but the old camera wasn't digital and my pics are all so fuzzy and dark.

All I can say is, "What was I thinking?" That goes for the hair and the shirt! Yikes!

Another Hairdo

This is an adaptation from this hairdo. Obviously it's different, but I remember seeing the hairdo online and tried to do it from memory. Anyway, I think it's still cute, as is the little girl :)

Another Hair Style

This one is an alteration from the braid flower that I did before. I did two instead of the one and I did twists instead of braids.

New Hairdo

So I just posted yesterday about this hairdo site that I found through another blogger. I entered a contest saying what my favorite hairdo was and I decided to try it out. Here it is the Braid Flower...
