I started this post on Monday and am now getting around to finishing it for Tuesday that already passed! Story of my life! Anyway, I was going to take this great picture of my reflection in the window of Cold stone, but it never happened. It was a great idea though. Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE ICE CREAM. My theme in life is "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!"
According to my mother, when I was 9 months old my mom and aunt took us out for ice cream. I was too little to have my own, so my mom was just going to share with me. Well, I had other plans, I screamed until she bought me my own cone!! What does that say for my love of ice cream? When ever Ethan asks me what my favorite foods are I always answer the same thing "ice cream, french fries & pizza". Nothing has changes since I was a baby, I still love ice cream. Even though I love ice cream, my kids will tell you, "Mom only wants chocolate!" That is true, my other love is chocolate! What a divine mix--chocolate and ice cream!
Now that I've gone on and on about it I wish I had a bowl of chocolate ice cream with Almonds. Not just any ice cream, but Cold Stone--YUM!

This is a picture of Kalin eating her ice cream this morning. She had her 5 year old immunizations and a blood test, so she got a treat of soft ice cream at the hospital. Good thing she chose vanilla or I would have eaten it all!
Don't mind the "not showered" old glasses look, her apt was at 9am, so I couldn't possibly get up early enough to doll myself up :) It is summer time!

I like your old glasses! Love the childhood story, I can just picture it. Probably because I've experienced it with one of my own kids...
I think it is a great picture. :-) And chocolate with almonds, is my favorite too! YUM
Hilarious that even as an infant you KNEW ice cream was "da bomb!" Love the memories & I am glad to know I'm not the only one who is lucky to just get out the door for an AM Dr. apt!!!
Very cute! I love cold stone, too! And chocolate and ice cream! My son just got 4 shots and got the sympathy chocolate milk shake afterwards.
