When It's Windy, Fly Kits!

Or at least try!

It's really windy where we live, so the kids think that means we should fly kites. I don't really think that CRAZY wind qualifies for kite flying.
Flying kites in the back yard usually means dragging kites, tangling strings, strings stuck in the raspberries, kite string stuck in the roof shingles, etc.
But it is a lot of fun and the kids LOVE it.

So I let them try. Every once and awhile they are successful and all the other times I help them fix the kites :) They're kites from the dollar store anyway, so no harm done.
