Ughhh!

This picture is to show that you can't tell the driveway from anything else. It snowed almost the entire day yesterday and we decided to stay in all day and lounge. Today we regretted not shoveling the driveway yesterday!!!

Matthew trying to find out stairs!

His face shows just how we both felt!

This is my work part way done. We had about a foot of snow on the driveway and it took us about 1 1/2 hours to shovel all the snow off.

More of my lovely work.

So for anyone that feels really sorry for us, I'm starting the "Feel sorry for the Albas snow blower fund"!!!
Really though, by the time we finished there was already 1/2" of snow on the driveway because it had been snowing the entire time that we were shoveling. And now that it's been about 1 1/2 hours since we were out there, the driveway is covered again!!!! And that's why this post is titled "Ughhh!"

Your home looks a lot like ours! We are up to about two feet, with more on the way! I guess we can all be comforted that at least we'll have a white Christmas!

Remind Matt that there are plenty of fine universities in Sunny South Florida! 80 degrees today . . .

Oh - I have always wondered why people shovel when it is snowing outside? It just makes me feel defeated. I have decided to be like a squirrel: pack all my nuts away and then hunker down for the winter...think it will work? :)

Uhhhh....hmmm... I'm trying to think what the bright side of this might be.....I got it! You and Matthew get to have nice tone muscles just in time for swim suit weather. Oh, maybe I shouldn't jump ahead so far and mention swim suit weather...okay I got another. You can have more cocoa parties. Good luck this winter!

SO one of Matthew's students who just so happens to be my brother in law has a snow blowing business where you call him the night before when it is snowing and you tell him what time you need to leave in the morning and by the time you are up and ready to go your driveway is all clean and snow blowed, I can get you his info if you want it????
