So, for the last week all we've been hearing from Kalin and Ethan is "I don't want to go to school." Ethan taught his sister that one! Anyway, yesterday was the kindergarten open house and we took Kalin to meet her new teacher and see the classroom. This was her attitude all the way to the classroom. Of course when the teacher asked her if she was excited to come to school, she said "YES!" I knew the open house would be good for her.

Ethan's first day of 2nd Grade. When I picked him up from school he was a little sad. I asked him what was wrong and he said "Second grade was not as fun as I thought it would be."

ethan told me the same thing when i asked him how his first day of school was. his teacher looks like she will be fun! how is it with one at home for some of the day?
i can't believe andrew and kalin are in kindergarten! they were only 2 when we left abq. she looks so cute getting off the bus!

We looked for Kaylin when he got on and then I drove by and saw you in front of the school and thought you'd just decided to take her, how funny you just missed it. Oh well, live and learn. Bummer for Ethan that it wasn't as exciting as he expected, maybe it will grow on him. Glad Kaylin loved her class, hopefully the excitement will last all year!
I agree with Sarah...that one pic of Kalin is like looking at you. Too cute. How crazy that your kids are growing up so fast. Sorry to Ethan for not being as excited, poor guy.
I love that you took a video of Kalin getting off the bus. That's a good one to document.

I can't beieve Ethan is in 2nd grade! Kalin looks so cute for her first day of school! Kalin doesn't seem like she wouldn't want to go to school, but that's what older siblings are for huh? You chil'ns are too cute! I miss them. If you need me to watch them in April, I'd love to....maybe I should talk to my husband first. Love ya!
