The Next Step

We always had this joke with my little sister Chelsea way back when she was a teenager living with us. She was very much the tom boy and everytime she did something girly we'd tease her that it was the next step to becoming a girly girl. I just wanted you to know Chels that I took the next step and did one of the ultimate girly things for myself that I said that I would never do! Check it out...

Yup, I got my nails done. I took a before picture to show you just how brutal the dryness here has been to my nails, but the camera did not save that picture for some reason. (The camera is getting really old now.) In my defense Chelsea, I just recently broke 3 nails really far down and they hurt bad and I was sick of it, so this is my way to keep from breaking nails. I know, lame excuse, but I'm trying to be a little tough still. Who knows, maybe it's because I grew up with 5 brothers that I try to be so tough. I should just give it up and be totally girly girl! I'll let you know if that ever happens! ;)

By the way, anyone interested in getting your nails done, Trina does a great job! Thanks Trina!

Tis true...the next step!! What is the ultimate step? The step where there is no turning back?
I love the nails!! They look good! It looks like she's done them before, unlike the ONE experience. Please tell me you haven't forgotten. When I started reading this post, I thought that's what it was going to be about. That was the worst nail experience ever...well at lesat I didn't get an infection or anything.

No one will ever forget that nail experience you had. I still feel bad that your nails looked so bad and that you were late to your own baby shower. Good thing we got that refund! Sorry!

BEAUTIFUL!!! I love it when tomboy girls like all of us do something like getting our nails done and it is a momentus occasion!!! I LOVE IT!!! I am the same way! I actually got loving getting my nails done when I lived in Utah and then I meet Kip, he hates fake nails on me??? I can't figure out why, they are GREAT back scratchers! Well it saves me money for now but I think I will go back to the nails someday! Doesn't it make you feel SO much more like a girl??? It does for me!
