Seeing Jupiter

Matthew saw on the news that Jupiter would be close to the earth this week and it only gets this close every 20 some years.
So this is what we did last night. It was so fun and we were actually able to see some of Jupiter's moons too.
This is what it looked like from my point and shoot camera. Jupiter is the small dot to the left of the moon. It's the next brightest thing in the sky, other than the moon and you can see it with the naked eye. But you can see a lot more with a telescope.

Want to see Jupiter? Here's more info.
