Pleasantly Pink Baby Shower

If you already didn't know, I love to throw parties! What's even better than throwing a party on my own? Planning one with Tiffany Crabtree, my ULTRA creative friend!! I asked her if she would help me with this baby shower and since it was for a baby girl, I thought it would be fun to go with a "pleasantly pink" theme. I told her the theme and she pretty much came up with ALL the ideas & executed them! I have to give credit where credit is due!!
This is the invitation that I came up with from the colors/ideas that Tiffany gave me. I planned on making homemade cards, but I couldn't find any paper to match my idea, so I made a digital one.
Since I have a really high ceiling, Tiffany came up with the idea to hang these tissue pom poms and lanterns from dowels placed in vases. She made these and they turned out great!
Tiffany found this centerpiece idea on the internet, here, and it was too cute not to use for this baby shower. Finding the umbrella was the hard part, but once we got that figured out (borrowed it from Mashaide--Thanks), it was a breeze. Tiffany made the flower arrangement and I found crystals to hang from the edges of the umbrella.
super yummy Caesar Club Sandwich that Tiffany made. We were going to put them in these cute Glassine Bakery Bags, but the sandwiches didn't end up fitting.

These shells were lots of fun to make & they were so pretty. The shells were made with melted semi-sweet chocolate chips in a Wilton candy mold & filled with raspberry mousse.

Paper cones filled with pink candied popcorn. Again, made by Tiffany!

pink cupcakes in pink wrappers--of course!

chips & two kinds of dip--addictive!
Stuffed strawberries made by Leslie.

can't have a pink party without pink lemonade!
and of course pom poms need to be present! Click here for a tutorial.

If you couldn't tell from the other baby shower pics I posted. I love my new stampin up mini milk carton die cut. We used transparencies to make these and they turned out so cute!

Thanks to everyone (Conna, Leslie, LaTrisha, Nicole, Stephanie) who helped bring/make the food. Thanks to Stephanie for the fun games. And a major huge thanks to Tiffany for planning and executing this baby shower! It was really nice to have lots of help!

Love the umbrella idea. Is it a rice paper umbrella? I've seen those all over the net for anyone who can't find one in local stores--just a tip.

It was so fun to do this with you. But as anyone can see by your sisters shower you certainly don't need me for all the creativity. : )

This is such a beautiful blog! I have just fallen for it. My sister is also going to have a baby by next month and I have also booked one of the event halls for rent. I can see a lot of innovative and different ideas here. I am sure I will be able to make her day a very special one.
