When The Boys Are Away, The Girls Will PLAY!!

While the boys were gone and the father and son camp out, we decided to have a fun girls night!
First we had to eat pizza.
Then we decided to polish our nails...
Lexi chose light pink with purple sparkles.

Every once and awhile it's painful having your picture taken :)

Kalin chose hot pink with white sparkles.

Then it was time to lounge around and watch a movie--Jumangi (or as Lexi calls it Juyandry)

No movie is complete unless you have your pink sleeping bag!

Oh yeah, and chocolate ice cream with all the fixins!!!!

The final product!

She refused to smile for the picture. Not sure why because she was so happy to be eating ice cream!

Marshmallows go on everything--right?

Fun times with the girls!

We had to end the night with a "girl style" camp out--a plush bed. Instead of sleeping in the living room, we all piled into mommy's bed.

Kalin trying to take a picture of Lexi and I.

Lexi screamed until I let her take a picture and this is the result. She wouldn't take her hand out of the way of the lens.

I was trying to help her take this one. At least there's no finger in the way.
It wasn't the most restful sleep, but we had a blast. Thanks girls for the fun memories :)

you're such a fun mom. I think we just tried to survive that night without having dads help. I should have brought my ice cream bowl and snuck over to your place!!

This makes me totally look forward to the boys running off someday to leave the girls alone. And it makes me happy I have a daughter. How fun! Your girls are lucky to have a mommy like you!
