MHR Inspiration #7

Tell us about a time that your spouse went out of his way to serve you, and love you sacrificially.

A time"!How about, all the time!! Seriously, my husband rocks because he serves me all the time and has throughout our entire marriage. Love me sacrificially? There's no better example than him. He just told me yesterday that he's always been madly in love with me and still is. Who doesn't want to hear their husband confess his love, even after 12 years?

I am going to follow the rules and just pick "a time". The first thing that comes to mind is when I was pregnant with Ethan. The previous pregnancy I had a couple years before that ended in a miscarriage, so when I was FINALLY pregnant with Ethan, we were a little on edge. I had my fair share of problems with that pregnancy with carpal tunnel, heart burn, bleeding, etc. and my husband was so awesome!! He did things around the house for me and he babied me and took such good care of me because he was always worried for me and the baby. What stands out to me was that he always had empathy for me and wished he could help me more. When we think back on that pregnancy he still recalls towards the end of that pregnancy when I was sleeping with my wrist braces on and a billion pillows all around me, that I just looked miserable and he still feels bad for me and wishes he could have done more. What a husband, what a guy!! I just love him to pieces!

**Warning** Ugly pregnant picture below...

See he was even trying to make me feel better by trying to make his tummy look as HUGE as mine was!

I hope this picture doesn't look too bad. We were just trying to emphasize the tummy and Brian (Matthew's brother in the back) was trying to give the look of "of my gosh" you both have big preggo bellies!
