Pumpkin Carving

Kalin's little pumpkin she got on her field trip to the pumpkin patch.
The other crazy massive pumpkins and the great mess that goes along with them.

We downloaded our designs from www.bhg.com. This is the design and this is the pumpkin...

We did this design on the little pumpkin because that's what Kalin wanted. I couldn't keep my hands still enough for the picture to be clear, but you get the idea.
The kids were such good helpers. They scooped out the cuts and seeds and had a blast. Little Lexi kept picking up the pens and carving tools, so we had to keep a close eye on her.

This is our last design that we printed out from the same website, but this poor pumpkin is not yet done. We picked out the thickest pumpkin, so this one is going to have to be a "two-nighter"design. The knife hardly goes through the pumpkin to cut it out. It's Ethan's pumpkin so he's quite anxious, but I already broke a nail doing this design! Yes Trina, it's the nail you just fixed on Friday! Oh well :)

Great pumpkins!!! As you saw our are already in the garbage can covered in mold. That's dedication, breaking a nail in the name of pumpkin carving. Go mom! We'll have to drive by one night to see them lit.

Such fun! The girls designed their own, with the help of their daddy! I really like those designs and that mummy one is going to be really cool!

Okay, I don't really mean to comment on every post, buggin', shoot. I just put a comment if I have something to say, so my something to say is: It's awesome you guys carved that little pumpkin and I can't wait to see that mummy pumpkin.

Wow, those are all so good, we just free handed ours this year, well every year actually. We need to try something cool like that next year for sure! Good job family!
