SPT

Your challenge is to highlight one thing per week that you have been inspired to do "because of a blogger." Maybe it is a blogger you know (an old friend, a neighbor). Maybe it is a blogger who is on your RSS feed. Or maybe your creativity was sparked by a "drive-by" - a link to a link to a link. (wherever you found your inspiration, please try to give a nod to the appropriate blogger.)

-Tues., September 16 arts and crafts

I'M BACK!!! It's been awhile since my last SPT. It's taken me awhile to get back into my non-summer routine!

I have been inspired by my friend and fellow blogger Kristi to make some aprons! She is part of an apron swap and I've checked out her links to those sites as well. There are a lot of bloggers who do apron swaps and who make cute aprons to sell. I got the crazy idea one day to just make my own, so I bought the fabric and downloaded a pattern, now I just need to actually sew them. Maybe now that the kids are in school I might be able to find the time to get to work on these. I just need the motivation to actually get started :) Thanks for the inspiration Kristi!

Ok first I have to note the time of this post, you are crazy woman! And then I need to ask are these kids aprons your making or are they for you? What a fun idea too bad I am not at all capable of sewing. Good luck getting them done.

I'm actually going to do "Mommy and Me" matching ones. We'll see how well that goes seeing that I don't have a kid pattern. I was just going to wing it :)

Love the material, so amazingly cute! So you have to take a picture of the finnished product when you get it done so we can all see it! I really want to re learn how to sew. I keep learning and then never doing it again after that and forgetting again. I just need to become more of the perfect woman I suppose!

Can't wait to see them when they are done. I can't sew at all so you are definitely steps ahead of me.
