Happy St. Patrick's Day

So we've never done anything for St. Patrick's day before. I got the grand idea during the day to have a green dinner just for fun. How original I know! I went to the dollar store and bought these lovely hats and green plastic ware.

We had spinach salad, spinach fettuccine alfredo, green garlic bread (food coloring in the butter spread), grapes & vanilla Italian sodas (more food coloring). I tried to find things that were already green. I actually had to go to 2 grocery stores to find green spinach fettuccine.

For dessert we had mint n chip ice cream & grasshopper cupcakes (thanks to the cocoa bean cupcake cafe)
I called Matthew at work during the day to tell him that we were having a green dinner, but what we were having was a surprise. He said he was really excited to come him and eat dinner. It was the funnest St. Patty's day we have ever had. It was all so yummy and I was so glad that green stuff tasted so good!
