So many of my friends...Thank-you for posting this. So many of my friends are teachers here and it is heartbreaking to see what they are having to go through. They love their jobs but when you can't survive on the income, how do you justify keeping it? Try being married to a teacher with a masters degree AND 11 years of teaching experience and still have to work part-time because we can't live off of his income!! Ugh. It's so sad that teachers' salaries will ever be a source of debate and a quick fix for bugdet troubles. It's a major flaw in our system. What to do?
